Il tabacco nel XX secolo,ha provocato la morte di 100 milioni di persone.
Fino al 2030 le morti legate al fumo supereranno gli otto milioni.L'80% riguarderanno i Paesi in via di sviluppo.
Nel corso del XXI,il tabacco potrebbe fare un miliardo di vittime.
E' quello che viene fuori dall'ultimo rapporto pubblicato a New York,dall'Organizzazzione World Health Organization.
The report was presented by Director General of ' WHO, Margaret Chan, and New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg, and is entitled "Global Tobacco Epidemic Report "
The study provides statistics and indication of the possibility of reducing the consumption and the various policies adopted by countries to raise awareness and try to reduce the smoking habit.
The figures are quite impressive and maybe even find it hard to believe.
